Job description 
The HR advisor manages and delivers HR services to the plant (Botlek) and supports managers at the HQ (Schiphol). He or she is the key contact for all employees in Botlek (100 fte) for questions regarding collective labor agreements, HR policies and practices. Participates or leads HR projects, such as an engagement survey or improvement of HR policies. Acts as a partner to business management, provides HR advise and helps the business in achieving its goals. Coordinates and participates in the recruitment and selection of new employees from advertising up to the job offer. Provides management support dealing with performance of employees and the annual appraisal process. Assists in reducing sick leave and other forms of absenteeism.
Candidates should have a degree in human sciences or related experience and ten years of hands-on experience in HR. They have working knowledge of relevant labor laws and regulations and experience in the development of HR policies. Project management and change management skills are required, as well as English language fluency. The ideal candidate has experience in working for a multinational manufacturing company and has worked on different project/interim assignments before.
Offered is a fulltime job as an HR advisor on temp basis for a period of ten months, as a replacement for the current HR advisor's pregnancy leave. The HQ will be located in Schiedam until the end of January.
